The Buggyra racing team has been active in the motorsport scene for over 50 years. It currently competes on circuits with Mercedes AMG GT4 cars in the 24H Series endurance racing series, where it won the title this year. It also competes in the French Truck Racing Championship. Here it also won the French champion title for the fourth time this year. However, circuits are not the only place where you can see the Buggyra ZM Racing team. Long-distance rallying is another branch where the Red-Lined REVO T1+ and Red-Lined REVO T1+ GTR cars with Tatra EVO 3 and Phoenix are fighting for the top spots.

Martin Koloc is one of the most successful Czech circuit racers, currently devoting all his efforts to leading the global Buggyra ZM Racing team. For many years, the team was associated with circuit truck racing, but has now focused on circuit endurance racing and also on participating in the world’s toughest competition, the Dakar Rally. In the demanding conditions of long-distance rallies, it is important to be constantly connected, which is why he chose high-quality products from the Czech company Tactical as accessories for the Buggyra ZM Racing team’s mobile phones.
How did you get into racing?
My journey into racing began in my youth, when I became passionate about motorsport. I gradually worked my way up to tow truck racing, where I achieved two European championship titles. This passion eventually led me to found the Buggyra team, with the goal of being the best.
You now spend a large part of the year in the Middle East. How does life compare there to Europe?
Life in the Middle East is dynamic and offers many opportunities, especially in the field of motorsport. The cultural differences are noticeable, but we have adapted and are using the opportunities here to develop our team.
Buggyra ZM Racing is a very successful racing team. What is your favorite car?
Each car in our team has its own charm and significance. Personally, I have a weakness for the Red-Lined REVO T1+ GTR, which I had the opportunity to test in racing mode myself, and I am looking forward to tuning it properly.
Another part of your team is the academy. How does Buggyra ZM Academy work? And how do you get both of your daughters racing?
Buggyra Academy prepares young and talented racers for a career in motorsport. Our proven program, experienced coaches and extensive industry network ensure that our students achieve their racing goals. For example, Téo Calvet became the French Circuit Truck Champion for the third time this year. My daughters Aliyyah and Yasmeen are part of the program and I trust their judgment and ability.
You are working with the Czech brand Tactical, which specializes in mobile phone accessories. You were able to test their products during the demanding Rallye du Maroc. How satisfied are you with them?
Tactical products pleasantly surprised me with their durability and reliability. Even in the demanding conditions of the Rallye du Maroc, they worked flawlessly, which is a testament to their high quality.

How is your team prepared for this demanding competition and what results would you consider a success at the finish?
We are preparing intensively for the Dakar Rally. Our goal is to achieve the best possible results and confirm our position among the elite. Success for us would be a top finish and a smooth race.
